Romeo Travis

From Romeo Travis ( born December 10, 1984 in Akron, Ohio ) is an American professional basketball player who played from 2008 to 2010 just three seasons in the German Basketball Bundesliga. After he had previously been already active in Spain, he played then in Israel and Croatia. In the 2013/14 season, he is in the Basketball Super League Ukraine at Chimk Juschne under contract.

Career

Romeo Travis was playing on his high school St. Vincent - St. Mary along with Dru Joyce and the NBA All-Star and Olympic champion LeBron James, with whom he is very good friends even today. After his successful graduation, he went together with Joyce at the university of his native city, the University of Akron. Travis played at the college in the Zips basketball team mentioned in the Mid- American Conference NCAA Division I, out of the vast number of players for the professional league NBA are recruited.
