Romuald Giegiel

Romuald Giegiel ( born May 8, 1957) is a former Polish hurdler, who specializes in the 110-meter distance.

In 1978 he was at the European Athletics Championships in Prague seventh.

In the Indoor Athletics European Championships he was the 60m hurdles in Vienna in 1979 and won fifth place in 1980 in Sindelfingen silver.

In 1982, he was sixth at the European Championships in Athens. A sixth place on 60 m hurdles at the 1983 European Indoor Championships in Budapest was followed by a victory in the same discipline at the 1984 European Indoor Championships in Gothenburg. At the 1986 European Indoor Championships in Madrid, he finished sixth on the 60m hurdles.

Seven times he was Polish champion in the 110m hurdles outdoors (1978, 1981-1986 ) and five 60m hurdles in Hall (1979, 1983-1986).
