Ron Jeffries

Ron Jeffries ( born December 26, 1939) is next to Kent Beck and Ward Cunningham, one of the three founders of Extreme Programming ( XP). The author was born in Washington, DC, wrote several books and studied at Harvard, Creighton University, University of Detroit and the University of Michigan.

Jeffries lives near Ann Arbor, Michigan. He began his varied career in 1962 as a software developer, then to assume leadership responsibilities. He was then manager and executive. Since the mid- 90s, he is an independent consultant and a steady contributor to the Agile Alliance.

He is one of the authors of the Agile Manifesto and currently a member of the board of the Agile Alliance.
