Ronart Cars Ltd. is a British manufacturer of automobiles.

Company History

Arthur Wolstenholme presented in 1984 a prototype at the National Classic Car Show. In 1987 he founded together with his wife Rona, the company Ronart Cars and started the production of automobiles. The brand name is Ronart, composed of the name of the married couple. The company is based in London and work in Peterborough. Between 2006 and 2008 Vanwall Cars was also led by Wolstenholme, who is responsible for the production.

Rolling stock

The W 152 is similar to racing cars from the 1950s. The base unit is a tubular space frame, originally designed by Spyder Engineering. The open body made ​​from either fiberglass, Kevlar or aluminum. Four copies of the GP Racer emerged one after the other with two seats between 1999 and 2003. This was provided by a V8 engine for the drive.

2002 Lightning appeared. A V8 engine from the Ford Mustang with 4600 cc and 325 hp to 440 hp provided for the drive.
