Ronchi dei Legionari
Ronchi dei Legionari ( Roncjis Friulian, Slovenian Ronke, German outdated Ronkis ) is a town with 11,932 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2012) in the Province of Gorizia in the Friuli- Venezia Giulia and seat of the airport of Trieste.
The municipality owns next to the main town Roncie three other hamlets ( frazioni ):

- Soleschiano
- Vermegliano

History
The community was until the end of World War I part of the county of Gorizia and Gradisca, where she was placed under the jurisdiction Monfalcone, which in turn was part of the district Monfalcone.
