Ronnie Stern

Ronald " Ronnie " Stern ( born January 11, 1967 in Sainte -Agathe -de- Lotbinière, Quebec ) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player. During his career he played for the Vancouver Canucks, Calgary Flames and San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League.

Career

Stern played with three years from 1984 to 1987 at the Longueuil Chevaliers in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. In addition to numerous penalty minutes of Canadians could also put accents on the offensive and accumulated up to the beginning of his professional career, 759 penalty minutes and 163 points in 193 games in the QMJHL.

After knee surgery, which meant that he missed the entire 1997/98 season, he joined in August 1998 as a free agent with the San Jose Sharks. There he had signed a two year contract.

After the end of the contract ended his career rating on 22 September 2000 officially.
