Ronnie Tober

Ronnie Tober (actually: Ronald Edwin Tober; * April 21, 1945 in Bussum ) is a Dutch pop singer.

At the age of three years Tober came with his family to Albany in the United States. He has been active as a singer and has performed at the local television station and worked as a musical actor. After an appearance in the Dutch music show Off the Cuff 1963, he was discovered by a local record company. With Iedere Avond published in 1964 his debut single. In 1966 he had a successful participation at the Sopot Festival, his participation in the Euro Vision Song Contest in London in 1968 with the hit morning, however, ended in the last place.

Ronnie Tober remained for decades a well-known pop singers in the Netherlands. In 2003 he founded the Foundation Ronnie Tober Foundation, which cares for people with intellectual disabilities.
