Rory Kennedy

Rory Elizabeth Katherine Kennedy ( born December 12, 1968 in Washington, DC) is an American documentary film director and -producer.

Life

Rory Kennedy is the youngest of the eleven children of U.S. Senator Robert F. Kennedy and Ethel Skakel Kennedy his wife. Her father was assassinated six months before her birth. Died in 1984, her brother David to a drug overdose in 1997, her brother Michael by a skiing accident. Two years later died her cousin John F. Kennedy Jr. when he crashed with the aircraft controlled by him, which he wanted to travel to Rory's wedding. The ceremony was then moved and held two weeks later on a smaller frame.

Rory Kennedy married Mark Bailey on August 2, 1999. They have two daughters (* 2002, * 2004) and a son (* 2007).

Rory Kennedy has received numerous awards for her work as a documentary film director and -producer.
