Rosemary Dexter

Rosemary Dexter ( born July 19, 1944 in Quetta, Pakistan today, † September 8, 2010 in Recanati, Italy) was a British actress in mainly Italian films.

Life

Dexter was born as the daughter of British parents in what was then British India in the late 1950s and moved to Italy, where she worked as an actress. Her first film appearance was in 1963 in the science-fiction comedy Doctor, the body lives; to 1975 she appeared in about 35 films, mostly as a decorative accessory or a romantic love interest of the hero. In 1975, after a photo shoot for the February issue of the Italian Playboy, she ended her career and moved through the mediation of the Earl Vanni and their families, with whom she was good friends, in the Via Leopardi to Recanati.

Dexter, whose first name is often rendered as Rosemarie, died after a long illness in September 2010.
