Ross Island, Killarney

Ross Iceland ( Irish: Oileán to Rois) is one that today is connected to the mainland, located on the east side of Lough Leane Killarney in County Kerry in Ireland in the 66.5 -hectare lake island. The island is the oldest center of copper mining on the island of Ireland.

The copper mining began with the Irish Bronze Age (about 2400-1800 BC).
