Rossy de Palma
Rossy de Palma ( born September 16, 1964 in Palma de Mallorca; actually Rosa Elena Garcia Echave ) is a Spanish actress.
Life
De Palma is best known for her performances in various films of Pedro Almodóvar. He discovered the singer and dancer in 1986 in a Madrid café. De Palma, who spent eight years in a relationship with her castmates Santiago Lajusticia, has two children.
Rossy de Palma was twice nominated for the Goya for Best Supporting Actress: 1994 for Kika and 1996 for La flor de mi secreto. In 1994, she received along with their ensemble counterparts the NBR Award for Best Acting By An Ensemble category for her role in the film Prêt -à- Porter. 1998 de Palma was the winner of the special prize at the International Locarno Film Festival for the film Hors jeu.
