The city motorway Tokyo 3 Shibuya Line (Japanese首都 高速3号 渋 谷 线, shuto Kosoku 3- gō Shibuya -sen, Eng. Shuto Expressway Route 3 ) is almost 12 km long motorway section in the east of Japan Tokyo Prefecture. The range of urban motorway Tokyo, from the southern center of the capital, Tokyo, where it is connected to the inner ring, in the Southwest: It begins in the district of Minato, and then passes through the districts of Shibuya, Meguro and Setagaya. After the junction Yōga it goes into the Tomei Expressway at Tōkyō Interchange. The first section was founded in 1964 in the district of Shibuya between a temporary junction in Shibuya 4 -chome and the junction in Shibuya Shinsenchō / Nampeidaichō completed. In 1967 the section was opened to Tanimachi Junction, connecting to the inner ring, which was closed in the same year. The western part to Yōga that linked the urban motorway network with the Tomei Expressway was opened to traffic in 1971. Established in 2010, the Ōhashi Junction in Ōhashi in Meguro district, it connects to the under construction middle ring, which usually runs underground in this area under the Yamate - dori.

In Yōga in the district of Setagaya took approximately 98,000 vehicles daily in 2005 the highway.
