Route 41 (Iceland)

The Reykjanesbraut is one of the most important roads in Iceland. It connects Reykjavík with the international airport Keflavik.

The road has the number 41 and runs approximately on the north bank of the Reykjanes peninsula. The Reykjanesbraut was built in 1912 and since 1965 she is paved. From 2003 to 2008 she was converted into a four-lane road. This track has motorway-like exits, however, as usual in Iceland, without signs.
