Rowbike

The control wheel is a recumbent bicycle, in which the driver completed a rowing -like motion and thus drives the bike. It is possible to also use the abdominal, back and arm muscles for propulsion in addition to the leg muscles.

It combines the technology of the recumbent bike as a vehicle with that of a rowing ergometer or pantograph as a training device. Rowingbikes are frequently used for training the entire body, often for locomotion in everyday life.

The Dutch manufacturer Thys also offers a three-wheeled control wheel and a tandem, the company row- k.com advertises his oar trike as a full body training machine.
