Rówek

Rowek ( German Klein Rowe ) is a very small village in the northwest of the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship rural community Ustka ( Stolpmünde ) in the powiat Słupski ( Stolp ).

Rowek located northeast of Rowy on the opposite bank of the Lupow ( Łupawa ), here - from the Garder See ( Jezioro Gardno ) flowing - flowing into the sea. The village can be reached via a private road which leads coming from Objazda ( Wobesde ) on the headland between the Baltic Sea and the lake.

History Small Rowe is with the neighboring Rowe (now Polish: Rowy ) intimately connected. By 1945, small Rowe was a district of Rowe and belonged to the official and the civil registry district Wobesde ( Objazda ) in the district of Stolp in Pomerania Region of the Prussian province of Pomerania.

1945 Small Rowe became Polish under the name Rowek and is now part of Gmina Ustka in powiat Słupski in the Pomeranian Voivodeship ( 1975-1998 Slupsk voivodship ). Rowek is incorporated into the mayor's office Rowy in historical continuity of time before 1945.

By 1945, small Rowe belonged ecclesiastically to the evangelical parish Rowe ( Rowy ) and was in the church Stolp -Altstadt Ostsprengel in the ecclesiastical province of the Church of the Old Prussian Pomerania Union.

Now Catholic - - parish seat of Rowy moved to Objazda ( Wobesde ) After 1945 was. The membership of Rowek Rowy remained, but the Church of Rowy was now a branch church of Objazda. The parish was part of the deanery Objazda Główczyce ( Glowitz ) in the diocese of Pelplin of the Catholic Church in Poland. Here surviving Protestant church members are now incorporated into the Cross parish in the Diocese of Slupsk in Pomeranian Greater Poland the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland.
