Roy Krishna

Roy Krishna ( born August 20, 1987 in Siberia ) is a Fijian football player who is active for Wellington Phoenix in Australia and for the Fiji national football team.

Career

His career began when Krishna Fijian club Labasa FC from the homonymous province. In January 2008 he moved to New Zealand where he completed three games for Waitakere United from Waitakere. In May 2008, he completed two weeks of a trial with Wellington Phoenix. Then he returned to Waitakere. To this end, he graduated already tryouts at the English club Leeds United and the Dutch club PSV Eindhoven. However, a subsequent change did not come to conditions.

In January 2014, he joined the A-League for the New Zealand participants Wellington Phoenix.

For the Fijian national football team Krishna has played thirteen games, where he scored six goals. In the match against Tuvalu as part of the qualification to FIFA World Cup 2010 on 25 August 2007, he scored only three goals.
