Royal Thai Government Gazette

The Royal Thai Government Gazette or shortly Royal Gazette (RG; Thai ราชกิจจานุเบกษา Ratcha Kitcha Nubeksa ) is an official publication site for official announcements by the Thai government.

Early history

The Royal Gazette was the first time on 15 March 1858 by King Mongkut (Rama IV ) issued to inform government officials and the public about news in the country. Already in 1839, King Phra Nang Klao (Rama III. ) Can print 9,000 copies of a law against trafficking and the smoking of opium. Otherwise royal scribe had made ​​out all decrees by hand.

King Mongkut (Rama IV ), who set up in the palace a printer to publish the Royal Gazette and disseminate official statements of the government.
