Różaniec, Lublin Voivodeship

Różaniec (German Rosary ) is a village in Poland with about 1,556 inhabitants in the municipality Tarnogród, County Biłgoraj (formerly Province Zamość ), Lublin Voivodeship, in eastern Poland. It is located about 8 km southeast of Tarnogród, 26 km south of Biłgoraj and 104 km south of the capital of Lublin region. Różaniec is divided into three parts Różaniec Pierwszy, Różaniec Drugi and Różaniec - SzkoĹ with their own mayors.

Personalities

In the Bavarian village Aulzhausen is a German-Polish reconciliation Cross for the 1922 -born Różaniec and 1944, executed by the Nazis forced laborers Michał Kwik. The inauguration of the Mahnmales 1994 Aulzhauser the cemetery was the origin of the local community partnership between the community and the Polish city Affing Łobez.
