Roztoky (Rakovník District)

Roztoky ( German Rostok ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located 13 kilometers south-east of Rakovníka and belongs to Okres Rakovník.

Geography

Roztoky is located north of Pürglitzer mountain country ( Křivoklátská Highlands ) opposite the mouth of the creek Rakovnický in a flow loop at the Berounka. The municipality is located in the conservation area Pürglitzer forest. To the south, the Beraník rises ( Sheep Mountain ) with 498 m.

History
