Rubén González Medina

Antonio Rubén González Medina CMF ( born February 9, 1949 in Santurce ) is Bishop of Caguas.

Life

Antonio Rubén González Medina joined the Congregation of the Claretians and received on 9 February 1975, the ordination.

Pope John Paul II appointed him on 12 December 2000 as Bishop of Caguas. The Archbishop Emeritus of San Juan de Puerto Rico, Luis Cardinal Aponte Martínez, consecrated him on 4 February of the next year to the bishop; Co-consecrators were François Robert Bacqué, Apostolic Nuncio to the Dominican Republic, and Roberto Octavio González Nieves, OFM, Archbishop of San Juan de Puerto Rico.
