Rubidium standard
A rubidium oscillator is a crystal oscillator whose frequency is controlled by a Frequency Locked Loop with the 6.8 GHz of rubidium vibration; this leads to a higher order of magnitude stability and accuracy than is possible with the commonly used quartz crystals.
It is used as a frequency standard and is considered the cheapest form of atomic clocks.
