Rudolf Bolo Maeglin

Bolo Rudolf Maeglin ( born December 26, 1898 in Basel, † April 28, 1973 same place ) was a Swiss journalist and cabaret lyricist.

He worked as a writer and for the national newspaper as a journalist. Maeglin became famous by the 1939 novel, Gilberte de Courgenay. Award-winning novella The Carnival is also his Ruesser from 1957, which was later set to music with Ruedi Walter.
