Rudolf Trümpy

Rudolf " Rudi " Trumpy ( born August 16, 1921 in Glarus, † 30 January 2009 in Küssnacht ) was a Swiss geologist who has rendered outstanding services to the instrumental exploration of the geology of the Alps.

Life

Trümpy was born into a family geologists: his father and three of his uncles worked as a geologist in the oil industry.
