Rudolfine Steindling

Rudolfine Steindling (* September 10, 1934, † 27 October 2012 in Tel Aviv), also called Red Fini, was an Austrian entrepreneur.

Life

Steindling was from 1959 to 1969 a member of the Austrian Communist Party ( KPO ). As a trustee of the CPA they managed not only the assets of the Communist Party, but also funds the GDR. She took over in trust in 1978 half of the shares in the company novelty and represented companies such as Bosch, Ciba- Geigy, Voest-Alpine and Steyr -Daimler -Puch in the GDR and put it in a substantial commission income.

In a four-year trial to the true ownership of the novelty - it belonged to the Communist Party or was it a front company of the SED? - It was decided in the first instance, that it belongs to the Communist Party, in the second instance that Steindling has led the novelty in appearance only.

Bank Austria, which had been accused of being Steindlings bank of complicity with the business woman, was convicted by a Swiss court to pay 245 million euros in damages in March 2010, on appeal the decision was reversed and remanded the case to the original court.
