Ruffus

Ruffus is an Estonian band. She represented the country at the Euro Vision Song Contest 2003, after they won the Eurolaul 2003.

Ruffus was originally founded under the name of Claire 's Birthday 1997. It describes itself as an indie rock band. The breakthrough on the Estonian market achieved the band in 1999 with the song Ladies Love Me 2000 appeared the success song Venus in the eponymous album by the band. After winning the Estonian national preliminaries to the Euro Vision Song Contest, Claire 's Birthday renamed in Ruffus. At the finals in 2003 in Riga, the band ended up with the song Eighties Coming Back repulsed on the 21th Place. From then Ruffus appeared only the album Lessons in Pop.

Singer and songwriter of the song " Eighties Coming Back ", Vaiko Eplik, recorded in Estonian indie albums Vaiko released under his label " Mortimer Snerd " 2006-2009 Eplik yes Eliit I, II ( Aastaajad ), III ( Kosmoseodüsseia ) and IV ( Neljas ), together with the Estonian formation Eliit, an amalgamation of various Estonian rock musicians. The CDs were released internationally on iTunes and other download portals.
