Rugby Calvisano

Rugby Calvisano ( named for sponsorship reasons Cammi Calvisano ) is an Italian rugby union club from Calvisano in the province of Brescia. He plays in the highest Italian League Super 10 home games will be played at the Centro Sportivo San Michele. Calvisano has been twice Champion and one Cup Winners' Cup.

History

The club was founded in 1970 and has since 1992, the legal form of an Srl ( GmbH). Calvisano participated in the 1999/2000 season for the first time participated in a European cup competition; all six group games in the European Challenge Cup was lost, however. Since the 2001/ 02 season Calvisano could qualify each year for the Heineken Cup, but never reached the quarterfinals.

2004 Calvisano won the Italian Rugby Cup. The team suggested in 2005 in the championship finals Benetton Treviso and won by four final defeats their first league title. 2008 was once again able to hit and to celebrate the second league title Treviso history.
