Rugby Pro D2
Is the second- highest division of the men in the French Rugby Union Pro D2. This second stage for professional teams was introduced in 2000 and is under the Top 14 It is organized on behalf of the French Ministry of Sport and the Fédération Française de Rugby from the Ligue Nationale de Rugby.
It involved 16 teams. The best team advances right, the second climber is in a play-off on the places 2-5 determined by the teams ( two semi-finals, one final ). The two worst teams will be relegated to the top amateur league Fédérale 1.

End of the 2012/13 season rose Oyonnax U.S. and CA Brive into the top 14. The Pays d' Aix RC and RC Massy Essonne had to dismount in the Fédérale 1.
