Ruggiero Rizzitelli
Ruggiero Rizzitelli ( born September 2, 1967 in Margherita di Savoia ), is a former Italian footballer.
Career
Clubs
Ruggiero Rizzitelli was active in his youth in the second team of AC Cesena until he received a contract in July 1984 with the professionals; where he played for four years and moved to AS Roma in 1988. For the Romans - for which he played most frequently - was Rizzitelli six years active. This was followed by two seasons at FC Turin, for although he played most effective, but relegation to Serie B could not prevent. In 1996 he moved from Serie A - the first Italian ever - to Germany to Bayern Munich. His league debut came on 16 August 1996 (1st Round ), in which he also scored his first goal ( in the 35th minute to 1:1 ) in a 2-1 success at FC St. Pauli succeeded. His last appearance in the Bundesliga was on May 9, 1998 ( 34th Round ) at home against Borussia Dortmund ( 4-0). After 45 league (12 goals), 5 DFB Cup (1 goal ), 6 European Cup games and a League Cup match for Bayern Munich his two year old season ended abroad. Rizzitelli returned to Italy to FC Piacenza and let end his footballing career after a season where they had begun - at AC Cesena.
National
From 1988 to 1991 he was eleven times the jersey of the Squadra Azzurra, for the 4-1 victory, he debuted on February 20 in Bari over the USSR and for which he scored twice.
