Rusinowo, Åšwidwin County

Rusinowo ( German name: Rützenhagen, Belgard - Schivelbein ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship. It belongs to the Gmina Świdwin ( Schivelbein ) in a circle Świdwin.

Geographical Location

The elongated farming village Rusinowo than twelve kilometers west of Świdwin on the province road No. 152 Szczecinek ( Pommern ) Barwice ( Bärwalde ) Połczyn Zdrój (Bad Polzin ) Świdwin - Starogard ( Stargordt ) - ( Resko (rain forest ) ). The next stations are Starogard (6 km) along the route Łobez ( Labes ) Resko (rain forest ) Płoty ( Plathe ) and Świdwin on the railway line Stargard - Gdańsk.

In the West, Mołstowa ( Molstow ), a tributary of the Rega, the municipal boundary and also the border of the neighboring county Labes forms.

The village includes residential places Damska ( roast mountain ), Przybyradz ( Bull Mountain ), Śliwno ( Fülgen ) and Zydlung ( Schönfeld ).

History

In the northwest corner of the town can be found on the left bank of the remains of a castle rampart Molstow from the 9th to 11th centuries. There should have been to protect against a Pomeranian knight's castle.

In 1493, a clergyman of the Church is called to Rützenhagen. 1500 enfeoffed Elector Joachim and Albert I of Brandenburg -Ansbach, the godfathers Rützen with ten fields.

1726 fire destroyed one half of the village including the church, rectory and school. 1760 reported pastor Steinbrück about massive looting of the Russian army during the Seven Years' War.

Before 1811 were resident in Rützenhagen nine farmers and four half- peasants.

In 1843 the village had 371 inhabitants, in 1862 there were already 644 Since 1879 there was a post office with private carts after Schivelbein 1882 are a brick and a telegraph station mentioned.

In 1939 lived in the 2065.6 acre community 669 inhabitants in 70 households. The light to medium soil was cultivated by 15 farmers and the Forstgut Countess Eugenie Wallwitz (nee Countess of Dönhoff ). In the village there was a bakery, three shoemakers land, a blacksmith, a wheelwright's shop, a carpentry shop, electric operation, a nursery and a guest house with hall and grocery trade.

By 1932 Rützenhagen belonged to the district Schivelbein until this in the county Belgard ( Persante ) was incorporated. Last mayor before 1945 was Heinrich Joeres.

Rützenhagen was assigned to the Office and the civil registry district Lankow and was in the range of the district court Schivelbein.

Parish

Rützenhagen was an independent parish and formed with the daughter church Leckow the parish Rützenhagen. To the parish were also Bolton, Schönfeld and Tesch bush. In 1940 the parish was one of 1515 members of the congregation.

By 1945 Rützenhagen belonged to the church district Schivelbein in the church of the Evangelical Church of Pomerania Old Prussian Union.

Today Rusinowo is part of the parish Koszalin ( Koszalin ) in the Diocese of Pomerania - Greater Poland the Polish Evangelical-Augsburg Church.

Parish Church

In place of the burnt church in 1726 a new church was built in 1768. But even less than a hundred years later, a new church was built in 1853. It is built of field stones and bricks, the wooden tower is a registered schwenktes tent roof.

1726 burned down the old schoolhouse. In 1882, a two-class elementary school is mentioned in Rützenhagen. Last before 1945 taught here the teacher Hans Jahnke and Kurt Köbsel.

Personality of the place

On September 28, 1880, born in Rützenhagen the writer and poet Richard Bartz Pomeranian home. He was closely connected his home until his death on 20 November 1955.
