Russian Organization for Intellectual Property

The Russian Intellectual Property Organization ( VOIS; Russian Всероссийская Организация Интеллектуальной Собственности, ВОИС ) is the copyright representation of performers and phonogram producers in Russia.

Function

The VOIS as a collecting society shall exercise the so-called second window rights to the artists and producers. In August 2009 VOIS was accredited as the only organization that can plan various rewards. The proceeds of the fee order is the Russian Civil Code according statuiert (Article 1326).

2012 was the total return of VOIS about 531.7 million rubles. Nowadays (2012 ) united VOIS about 3500 entities.
