Russians in Austria

In Austria there are several thousand people of Russian-speaking populations.

There are 5500 citizens of Russian descent who live in Austria, most of them in Vienna and Salzburg.

It has been around since the 17th century, a Russian community in Vienna. The first Russians came to Austria to here to trade and to receive education. In the 1920s, the European Community by the Russian Civil War grew rapidly. Many Russians came in the 1990s when scientists and athletes.
