Russkiy Mir Foundation

The Russkiy Mir Foundation (also foundation Russky Mir, Russian Русский мир to German Russian World ) is a Russian organization, whose aim is to popularize the Russian language abroad.

Activity

Russki Mir operates, to promote Russian language and culture, a network of Russian centers in many European and Asian cities. In these there is access to Russian literature, magazines tutorials, and audio and video material. Furthermore, in the Russian centers various events such as theme weeks, conferences, seminars and exhibitions are held.

In Germany there are still two Russian centers in Nuremberg and Dresden. In addition Russki Mir, in cooperation with the Federal Association of German East-West societies including the Russo mobile. It is a equipped with Russian games, books and magazines and CDs VW bus, which introduces on request in schools by accompanying Russian lecturers in the world of Russian language and culture. Establishment and organization

The Russkiy Mir Foundation was established by a decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on 21 June 2007.
