Ruth Malcomson

Ruth Malcomson (* 1906 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, † 1988, ibid ) was in 1924 the fourth Miss America.

At the age of 17 she won in 1923 as an amateur, the Bather 's Revue and was voted Miss Philadelphia little later. In 1924, she appeared in Atlantic City against 84 competitors inside for the title of Miss America, which they also won, taking also the reigning titleholder, Mary Campbell, suggested that had begun again.
