Rwanda national basketball team
The Rwandan National Basketball Team of the gentlemen representing Rwanda at basketball internationals. After the Rwandan Association had joined the World Federation FIBA in 1977, the selection of the men was 30 years later in 2007 for the first time qualify for a continental finals of the African Cup of Nations. Since then, she has been a regular participant in the continental championships and reached in 2009 with the ninth place their best ever placing, but this was not enough for a qualification for a global finals.
