Ryszard Bogusz

Ryszard Bogusz ( born March 2, 1951 in Bielsko- Biala ( Bielsko ) ) is a Lutheran theologian and bishop of the diocese of Breslau Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland.

In 1976, Ryszard Bogusz took up his curacy in the parish of " Opatrzności Bożej " ( " God's providence " ) in Wrocław (Breslau ) that took over in 1981, the parish administration of this congregation and in 1992 was a regular pastor. Since 1994 he also has the office of bishop of the Diocese of Breslau held within the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland.

Ryszard Bogusz is the initiator of many international and inter-church contacts to Germany. He is the recipient of the award " Brat Albert".

Bishop Ryszard Bogusz is also currently secretary of the Breslau " Polish Ecumenical Council ".
