Rzeczyca Mała

Rzeczyca Mała ( German Klein Reetz ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship in the immediate border location for Pomeranian Voivodeship. It belongs to the urban and rural community Polanów ( Pollnow ) in the powiat Koszaliński ( Pomerania ).

Geographical location

Rzeczyca Mała located seven miles southeast of downtown Polanów ( Pollnow ) in the province road 206 Koszalin ( Koszalin ) - Miastko ( Rummelsburg ) and is reached by a few hundred meters long impasse. Rail connection is via the six kilometers to station Przytocko ( Pritzig ) to that of Pila ( Pila ) to Ustka ( Stolpmünde ). Until 1945 there was also about the station Rzeczyca Wielka ( ( Large) Reetz, 1 km) connecting to the railway line Gramenz Zollbrueck and on Polanów ( Pollnow, 7 km ) to the railway line Schlawe - Pollnow - width of the mountain Schlawer tracks.

Place name

The German place name is used to distinguish the nearby village of Great Reetz ( 1928 only Reetz, Rzeczyca Wielka ) who joins the Polish name.

History

The oldest history of Rzeczyca Mała coincides with the bulk of Reetz ( Rzeczyca Wielka ). Originally a Vorwerk with two Kossäten, this 1784/2 farmers are called. At the end of the 18th century small Reetz had except the good nor a Vorwerk in the field marrow, called Latte skating. In 1928, Klein Reetz in the context of the reorganization of rural community Reetz.

Church

The population of small Reetz was before 1945 almost exclusively Protestant. The village belonged to the parish Pritzig (now Polish: Przytocko ) in the church Rummelsburg ( Miastko ) Ostsprengel in the ecclesiastical province of the Church of the Old Prussian Pomerania Union.

The inhabitants of Rzeczyca Mała are predominantly Catholic since 1945. They belong to the parish Rzeczyca Wielka ( ( Large) Reetz ), where in 1998 a chapel was built. It is a branch church in the parish Polanów ( Pollnow ), which belongs to the same deanery in the Diocese of Koszalin - Kolobrzeg in the Catholic Church in Poland.

Here surviving Protestant church members are the parish in the Cross parish in Slupsk ( Stolp ), which belongs to the Diocese of Pomerania - Greater Poland the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland.
