Rzyszczewko, SÅ‚awno County

Listen Rzyszczewko? / I ( German New Ristow ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship and is part of the rural community Sławno ( Schlawe ) in the powiat Slawienski.

Geographical location

Rzyszczewko located in Pomerania, six kilometers southwest of the county town Sławno. The place is not to be confused with Rzyszczewko at Polanów ( German: Small Ristow ) or the living space Rzyszczewko ( German Ristowkaten ) the village Kołtki ( Hoelkewiese ) at Bialy Bór ( Baldenburg ).

History

The settlement New Ristow 1773 created from royal grace money. She had nine farms and a mill with a few houses and was one kilometers north-west of Ristow on the way to Karwitz ( Karwice ).

In 1818, there were 76 inhabitants, whose number rose to 102 in 1885 and 1925 ( last census before the amalgamation with Ristow ) was 63.

Until 1945 the town was part of the municipality ( Alt) Ristow (now Polish: Rzyszczewo ) in the district Schlawe of the governmental district of Pomerania Pomerania.

Before the end of World War II New Ristow was occupied on 7 March 1945 by the Soviet Army. After the war the town was put together with all Pomerania under Polish administration.

Today Rzyszczewko is part of Gmina Sławno in powiat Slawienski the West Pomeranian Voivodeship ( to 1998 Slupsk voivodship ).

Church

Ecclesiastical New Ristow was until 1945 assigned to the parish Ristow. It was in the church Schlawe the ecclesiastical province of the Church of the Old Prussian Pomerania Union. Today, the Protestant inhabitants of Rzyszczewko belong to the parish of Koszalin ( Koszalin ) in the Diocese of Pomerania - Greater Poland the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland.
