S-comma

Ş ş ( s with comma) is a letter of the Romanian alphabet. Pronounced as in English it is the sch ( IPA: [ ʃ ] ).

Encoding

1999 looked before the Unicode ş ( in accordance with the regulations ISO 8859 ) as a glyph variant of Ş ( s with cedilla ).
