The Lotus is a gaffelgetakelter saver with home port Rochester. The system operated as "Sea Scout Ship 303 " of Webster, New York, the Boy Scouts of America ship is in Sodus Bay on Lake Ontario in Wayne County, New York.

History

Was designed from the ship naval architect William Hand Jr. in 1916 as a private yacht. This yacht was built in 1917 and put 1918 in Ohio Rocky River, completed and in service. At her baptism she was named Miss Gloucester. After the ship belonged to various private owners, bought it in 1943 Ezra Hale and his partner. They changed the name in Lotus.

Ezra Hale and John Trahey donated the ship in 1971 to the " Otetiana Council of the Boy Scouts of America " as " Sea Explorer Ship" (now Sea Scout Ship) 303
