Saatly District
Saatli is a rayon in Azerbaijan. The capital of the district is the city Saatli.
Geography
The district has an area of 1,180 km ². By Rayon flows of macaws, Saatli is the Mugansteppe.
Population
In Rayon 2009 92.300 people lived in 41 settlements.
Economy
The economy is dominated by agriculture. It is grown mainly grain, cotton and subtropical fruits and operated livestock.
Culture
In the villages Azakend, Fatalikend, Djafarkhan and Varkhankend are archaeological sites.
