Şaban Özdoğan

Şaban Özdoğan (born 14 March 1990 in Copenhagen, Denmark ) is a Danish football player with a Turkish migration background. He is currently without a club.

Association

Özdogan was already interested in football days of childhood. His first youth club was Kjøbenhavns Bold Club. Its first team merged in 1992 with the first team of FC Copenhagen Copenhagen for the B 1903. His competitive debut was on 22 July 2009 in the second leg of the 2.Qualifikationsrunde the UEFA Champions League in a 6-0 win against FK Mogren Budva, where he came on as a half-time for Martin Vingaard. His professional debut came on 25 February 2010, when he was eingfewechselt in the 1-3 defeat in the Europa League sixteenth -final second leg match against Olympique Marseille in the 80th minute for Dame N'Doye. His debut in the Superligæn he announced on 1 April 2011, when he came off the bench in a 2-0 win on 24 game against Odense BK in the first minute of stoppage time again for Martin Vingaard. In the Europa League against Olympique Marseille was the use Özdoğans also the only appearance of the season, as the defeat was tantamount to resignation. In the League of use against Odense was also his only of the season. After all, was end of the season, the Danish championship. The following season Özdoğan came in league play only four inserts. In the Champions League - the FCK reached the first Danish team ever the knockout stages - it was no use. However, at the end of the season he was able to celebrate the regained the championship title. After he could not at any time win a regular place in the first team, he announced that he would leave the FC Copenhagen the winter break of the season 2011/12.

He then went to Turkey, the homeland of his parents, and completed a trial with first division Kasımpaşa Istanbul, where, however, he failed. He eventually came under at Boldklubben Avarta. Half a year later he went to Svebølle BI.

National

So far, Saban Özdogan completed 24 games for the youth national teams of Denmark. Currently, he is a regular player in the U -20 national team.

Saban Özdogan comes from a Turkish immigrant family. He himself was born in Copenhagen.
