Sabarmati-Ashram
The Sabarmati Ashram (also known as Harijan Ashram ) is located in India, in the northwest of the city of Ahmedabad, the then capital of Gujarat on the river Sabarmati.
Here Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi lived (Honorary Name: Mahatma Gandhi ) from 1918 to 1930 and directed the non-violent resistance " Ahimsa " against the British occupation. Many national and international personalities came here to meet Gandhi.
His former home has been converted into a museum ' Gandhi Smarak Sangrahalay '. In room Gandhi's spinning wheel be that " Satyagraha table" and other utensils can be seen.
