Sabás Magaña García

Sabas Magaña García ( born January 24, 1921 in Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico; † 7 November 1990) was bishop of Matamoros.

Life

Sabas García Magaña received on 23 September 1944, the sacrament of Holy Orders.

On December 30, 1968 Pope Paul VI appointed him. Bishop of Matamoros. Pope Paul VI. He received his January 6, 1969, the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the Archbishops Curia Sergio Pignedoli, secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples, and Ernesto Civardi, secretary of the Consistorial.
