SABCA S-2
The SABCA S- 2 was developed in 1926. It was the first in Belgium, developed and built airliner. These were an aircraft in all-metal construction with thick wings and a tail made of corrugated iron, similar to the Junkers F 13 The company SABCA produced otherwise especially light aircraft or licensed products of foreign design.
Construction
The hull was carried out in all-metal construction with a rectangular cross section. The cockpit had a windshield, but was open at the sides. The passenger compartment was closed and is accessible through a door in the back.
The aircraft is a cantilever high-wing monoplane with a thick profile. The wing was carried out in all-metal construction.
The tail was performed in cantilever construction in normal metal.
The aircraft had a rigid chassis with through axle and tail skid.
