Saeid Abdevali

Saeid Mourad Abdvali ( born November 14, 1989 in Andimeschk, Khuzestan Province) is an Iranian wrestler. He was 2011 World Champion in Greco-Roman wrestling in lightweight.

Career

Saeid Mourad Abdvali began as a teenager in 2000 with the rings. He focuses on the Greco- Roman style. He is a member of the wrestling clubs Shahada. His coach is Mersa Ghalavand. He is a student and is struggling with a size of 1.70 meters at the major tournaments in the lightweight, the weight category to 66 kg body weight.

At the international wrestling mat, he first appeared in 2008. He was initially in Doha Asian champion Junior and a little later in Istanbul also Junior World Champion, both times at lightweight. In Istanbul, he was in such a good wrestler like Aleksandar Maksimovic, Serbia, Rafiq Huseynov, Azerbaijan and migrant Arutjunjan, Russia, behind.

In 2009 he was again junior world champion and referred migrants Arutjunjan and Frank Stäbler from Germany to the places. This year, he also started the first time with the seniors at an international championship. He finished it in the Asian Championships in Pattaya 3rd place behind Darkhan Bajachmetow, Kazakhstan and Hyuk Eaom, South Korea. 2010 Saeid Mourad Abdvali was used by the Iranian Wrestling Federation at the World Championships in Moscow. He defeated there in his first fight the Portuguese Hugo Passos da Silva, but lost already in his second fight against Hungarian Tamás Lőrincz, thus left and ended up in 14th place. One consolation for him then was the victory at the Asian Games 2010 in Guangzhou, where he won from India before Darkhan Bajachmetow, Tsumoto Fujimura, Japan and Sunil Kumar Rana.

In February 2011, he won the World Cup in Minsk against the strong South Korean Kim Hyeon -woo and Mikhail Semenov from Belarus. At the World Championships 2011 in Istanbul Saeid Mourad Abdvali then celebrated the first major success in the seniors. He was with wins over Mateusz Wanke, Poland, Frank Stäbler, Darkhan Bajachmetow, Kim Hyeon -woo and Manuchar Taschadaia from Georgia World Champion.

In 2012 he won in preparation for the London Olympics at a tournament in Qom before Aschat Dilmuchamedow from Kazakhstan and his compatriot Mehdi Mohammadi and at the World Cup in Saransk before migrants Arutjunjan, Jung Ji -hyun, South Korea and Yerbol Koniratow from Kasachsten. In the Olympics, he won the lightweight in his first fight against Atakan Yüksel from Turkey, but lost in his second fight against the experienced French Olympic champion in 2008 Steeve Guenot. Since this did not reach the final, he was eliminated in 11th place and ended up disappointing for him. Olympic champion was from him several times defeated South Koreans Kim Hyeon -woo.
