Sævar Birgisson

Sævar Birgisson (born 15 February 1988) is an Icelandic cross-country skiers.

Sævar Birgisson took in 2013 at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Val di Fiemme part. In the sprint, he finished 91st place in the 15 km freestyle race the 131st place in the team sprint and the 30th place.

At the Olympic Winter Games 2014 in Sochi Sævar Birgisson was one of five starters Islands. At the opening ceremony he wore the flag of his country. Sævar started in two races - in the sprint he finished in 72nd place in qualifying and in the 15 km classic race he came on the 74th Place.
