Safané Department

Safané is both a municipality (French commune Rurale ) and a comprehensive department of the same territory in the West African nation of Burkina Faso, in the region of Boucle du Mouhoun and the province Mouhoun. The municipality has 49 483 inhabitants in 40 villages.
