Safir (rocket)

Safir is a technology developed in Iran launcher.

The first test of the missile was, according to the Iranian government held on Saturday, August 16, 2008, after an unsuccessful attempt to start on the 4th of February of the same year. The Safir is the first two-stage rocket of Iran, its lower level consists of a Shahab - 3 medium-range missile, the second stage is a new development.
