Saint-Mamet-la-Salvetat

Saint- Mamet- la -Salvetat is a town in the French region of Auvergne and with 1555 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011). The municipality is part of the Cantal, Aurillac and is the capital of the arrondissement (French: chef- lieu) of the Canton of Saint- Mamet- la -Salvetat.

Location

Saint- Mamet- la -Salvetat is located in the Massif Central, in the chestnut trees, the region between the département of Lot and the Chaîne des Puys, about 13.5 kilometers southwest of Aurillac. Verkehrlich the community is accessible by the Route nationale 122. The Cère limits the municipality in the northeast.
