Saint-Méen-le-Grand

Saint- Méen -le- Grand is a commune with 4476 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Ille -et -Vilaine in the Brittany region. The municipality is situated approximately 43 km west of Rennes and 62 kilometers south of Saint -Malo and is located at the interface with the departments of Cotes -d'Armor and Morbihan.

Administratively, the municipality in the canton of Saint- Méen -le- Grand, a part of the Arrondissement Rennes. Only in 1918 the name of the location of Saint- Méen to Saint - Méen -le- Grand was changed.
